i have just ordered some travatine mosaic tiles for my bathroom. They are going in a shower area. ive been told i need to treat them before and after with a stain stop. Will this be sufficent enough to give a water proof barrier. Alos is any water proof tile adhesive suitable or is there a...
i agree. people are happy to pay £100 an hour for a dealership to service there car but complain about much lower fees for a plumber/ gas engineer to travel to there home and charge approx a half to quarter of the cost of a mechanic.
thats right I am a listed installer but unfortunatly not in your area.
As for air flow throught the heat ex. Viessmann are one of the better heat exchangers as there water ways are far larger diameter than the commonly used Giaonni. There for it is easy for air to get trapped.
There is a...
If the boiler is cycling a lot then sounds like to me that you have a flow problem. They can be quite hard work to vent the primary heat exchanger on a open vent condensing boiler.
I had a simular problem with the same boiler as yours i installed abour 12 months ago. turned out the pump was...
if im not mistaken the 18V is an open vent heat only boiler. The weather compensation option is only avaliable when using a system boiler or combi. If on a system boiler then you have to use a DHW prioity diverter valve instead of y plan or s plan.
I recently installed a multifuel stove. I knocked out the chimmney breast and set my stove in the bottom of the chimmney breast. I dry lined the back and surrounding areas and within a month or 2 the plaster started to craze and crack due to the intense heat. I now realise that i should of maybe...
viessmann is the hands down winner. Top notch boiler but make sure you fit the weather comp as this can save you even more on your fuel bill once setup correctly.
i am trying to give this guy my opinion. not start a bitching war.
The flow rate is 16l/min as you say and i stand corrected.
At one point I stopped viewing this forum due too all the bitching that goes on. I try to give my professional opinion where i can and help the decent people...
the broag remeha avanta plus is a cracking boiler. yeah they use all the usual components like everyone else.
Thing is Broag have been in the condensing boiler game for years unlike most of the competitors that copy. One of the main selling points for me is that you have the option of weather...
