i dont think so ,but thanks, after thinking a while,maybe it could be the new bulb that i put in,ive smelt new bulbs before for a few days. thank you all anyway,hopefully it will stop after a few days. j.h

hi, can any one advise me why my dimmable triple candle bulb ceiling light makes makes a slight buzzing sound when on? its a dimmable light fitting and whether its up high or low it still makes the same quiet buzzing sound when on,but no noise when switched off. thanks john
