isnt there something about the switch drops not needing to be rated as high as the circuit as all of the current doesnt flow down them. Just thinking aloud

the old 3/029 cable was rated for this in the 13th and 14th regs

if it is imperial, it will be tinned and either have 3 or 7 strands. 3/036 or 7/029. The details of these cables are available if required
