    Laminate floor sloping concrete

Hi all, My lounge has a concrete subfloor and I'm looking to lay laminate over it. The lounge has a small extension on it and where the original floor leads into the extension it slopes downwards by around 5mm + or -). I'd like to confirm that the best option is some self levelling...

New Salamander CT60B pump squealing noise

Hi all. Had this pump installed today and I wasn't expecting complete silence. I was thinking there'd be some vibration but this thing squeals/whines the whole time a tap or shower is running in the bathroom. Is this right or not? Pump is installed next to cylinder. Thanks

    24CDi leaking, auto air vent?

Hi all My 24CDi is leaking from the area shown in the picture attached. Not my picture but best I could find. Is that the auto air vent? If so how easy is it to replace? Do I just switch off the boiler, drain, replace and repressurise? Thanks

    Ceiling wiring too short?

Got some new lights to fit in the dining room but can't fit them as there doesn't seem to be enough wiring. I am trying to fit the bracket for the light but because the wiring is so tight I can't move it or the connection block out of the way to fit the bracket. Should I push the wiring into...

This worked. The lights now work as they should. Forgive my stupidity, you told me to do this a few posts back but my silly brain didn't get it! I appreciate both your help on this matter and for your massive amounts of patience!

    Switch wiring question

Ok. In the first photo the red arrow shows the cable from the ceiling rose and the orange arrow points to the cable that comes from both wall lights. As you can see, the wall lights are connected via the one cable. The second photo shows how the cables are terminated at the switch. Both...
