also I am going to connect a danfoss timer in the equation too. This timer has 3 settings, water, water and heating and off. I am going to connect the water only option to the pump only, the water and heating to the boiler and pump.
The system I currently have does not have any connection...
one extra thing to note here is that Honeywell make 2 different pipe stats, one os for 10-40 degrees and the other 50-95 degrees.
Of course for the frost stat, you will need the cooler 10-40 degree unit
I thought that if you used armoured cable but left it exposed then you were fine. for example along a fencline.
This might be an option instead of digging for you if it is correct
thats what I have done twice now in two different houses.
It seem not all CORGI guys are wanting to do that unless they have done the install themselves. I dont see an issue with that either as all the instructions are there to install it correctly and it isnt rocket science to install it as...
The old cables is not recommended now for telephony as it is not made int he same way. The old cable does not have the 2 pairs of wires twisted in any way which will lead to possible noise and humming on the line. If you then call BT out to have a look, they may charge for the visit.
The new...
our local ALDI have an inverter in now rated at 600w for (I think ) £45
good value I think with a 3 yr warranty (check that point too but they usually carry 3 yrs at Aldi)
I have only just purchased the property and the previous owner said 40 degrees was sufficient :? maybe he was just tight!! I have run the system at around 50degrees and the water pressure rose to about 2.25 bar so I dont think there is an issue with the system. For the winter while we are not...
this was to just say the 'normal' switching off of the boiler will happen at 45 degrees, just in case the water temperature had any relevance. I didnt think it would but you can bet if I hadn't put it there someone would have asked what my boiler switched off at :)
So the frost stat/pipe stat...
having now decided that a frost and pipe stat combination is right for my installation, I was wondering what a typical setting might be for the pipe stat.
I was thinking about 15 degrees.
The boiler is set to switch off automatically when the water gets to around 45 degrees
Thanks Dave and a good idea about the frost stat being in series with the pipe stat too, makes good sense.
I also assume the frost stat is in parallel with the normal stat if there are two of them. If not, would this be fine as the boiler is in the back part of the house which is probably the...
I am not sure if S-Video will provide sound too, I know it doesnt from my video camera. I also need a mini jack to provide the sound, the S Video port only provides the video.
I have downloaded the document (finally after all of the adverts!! phew!!) and it is great info.
I know it must not have been easy to complete but I for one send a great big thanks :D
And I will say some of the translations make me smile too, like the 'junction box' becomes 'box of...
