    DRYWALL/CEILING BOARDS

Hi, i'm about to board ceiling, my question is should I leave a small gap between long edges of adjacent boards (bound edge) as you would do with shorter cut edges when boarding a ceiling, to allow plaster to squeeze between the joints. Also should I leave a gap on the vertical bound edge joints...

    New inspection chamber (sewer)

Thanks for reply. I'm stuck with the height, because this new inspection chamber feeds into an existing manhole 10ft away. Would you say I need to encase chamber totally in concrete aswell or just beneath lid?

    New inspection chamber (sewer)

Hi, Is there any problems in using a plastic inspection chamber on a driveway (cars will be driving over) or will I need to build a brick one as my plans state? Also I believe the interconnecting pipes need to be clay and encased in concrete if they are close to surface, would this also apply to...

    tiling on underfloor heating

Not sure how to link websites to posts, but are these the sort of things?http://www.trimtraders.co.uk/store/Expansion_and_Movement_Joints.html The main joint does go straight across the centre of the room. I am planning on using large form rustic tiles, would these have a wide grouting joint...

    tiling on underfloor heating

Yes i have got expansion joints in all places where you have stated, but these finish flush with screed and don't carry on up. So do i assume correctly that i need to buy these type of joints to fit directly above these joints in the screed, and if so where can i buy them from considering this...
