basically my boss wants me to wire a steel frame pre fab 1940s house and fly over the top of the steel girers/joists unprotected and only 30mm max from the floor board . i was argueinng reg 522.6.6

are the designated routes still applicable ? or can you run cables anywhere less than 50mm unprotected as long as theres a rcd?

i cant wait now to see him... he reckons it has to be at least 300mm from the cookers edge

IGOT PULLED ON IT.. on a renevation, contract and a penpusher was adamant on 300mm away cheers guys i couldnt find it either

cheers 300mm recomended minimum but no reg what about a building reg

does anyone know of a regulation , electrical or otherwise stating the minimum distance a cooker isolator can be to the cooker i cant find one cheers

i have a similar problem reset light constantly on controls working no heating or hot water pump and fans both firing up possible pcb or gas valve???????
