I'm attaching a 6x2 to my house for a deck using M12 sleeve anchors. Some of them are tight, but it appears some have blown the back out of the bricks and the expansion sleeve isn't catching. I can put more in, but I'm wondering if putting them in the cement between the bricks might be a better...

We're looking at making a fence with horizontal 6x1 treated slats. If the slats are in contact with eachother (as in the photo) will this make them more likely to rot? Or would we be better spacing them at say 10mm?

You don't think that if it's maintained, like say reoiled or painted every couple if years, it will last longer?

We're hoping to build a cabin in our garden, the internal floor space is under 30m² but there is a public sewer that runs underneath where we plan to build and there is an inspection cover that will be near the base. Is there a minimum proximity to the inspection cover that we can build? I can't...
