Hi as per title. My son's 15 year old Mégane is parked at our house while he's away. Alarm keeps going off intermittently. I have disconnected main car battery to hopefully stop it going off again. Is it alright to leave the battery unconnected for a few days until we can get it sorted by...

    Covering/protecting existing shelf in kitchen.

Hi We have an existing shelf in our kitchen behind the sink and in front of the window. It is raised but gets splashed and the normal crud gets onto it. When I first put it in I painted it well but over time the paint looks sorry for itself. The shelf itself is sound and well fixed in. Is there...

Thanks I've already thought of all of these things and the jig I have made caters for all of them . Really just need to know what tooth blade would be suitable for cutting through 15 mm of stacked card. Thanks again everyone.

    Primer or undercoat or both

Hello, When the weather gets better I will be working on our house's windows. Generally they are in good condition but I know there will be a few places that I might have to sand back to the bare wood. If so do I use primer just on the wood or does it matter if it overlaps/ goes onto the...
