alarm advice

hi
looking for new alarm (old one ancient although working) just wondered if anybody could advise on a good qaulity alarm.
needs to be hard wired as i have ran all the cables
semi detatched house on 3 levels. looking to put 2 additional pannels in to save going down to mains box to set
whats best way? do i alarm all windows? whats best pir`s and contact`s for doors and windows or just pir`s
any advice would be appreciated

so where have you run these cables?

It depends on what risk the protected property is, as to what / where you do.

But generaly a pir in the most vulnerable places is best.

no point in putting one in every room, but do contact front and back doors.

cables were all ran during the last 3 years off renovations.just ran cables to all area`s that i thought i might need them.
whether i use them or not is irrelavant.

looks like i will look into texecom. thanks for advice

I knew i could count on RF Lighting. (never used that kit it myself) good luck
 
Texecom Veritas 8 Compact & Texecom Veritas R8 Plus are the better ones and each one will give you the option of having a onboard keypad or not, compact hasnt, R8 has..
