1) Hi there, I have an Intellisense alarm and due to moving a wall have removed the zone 4 (kitchen) PIR.

I opened the PIR (Rokonet Cosmos PQ), typred in my code to stop the tamper alarm, joined the tamper cables and disconnected the alarm and power cables from that PIR.

It will be a few weeks before the building works is complete so I want to use the alarm without the PIR. I reset the panel using my code then #, but if I try and set the alarm it won't set (broken tone) and lights up the zone 4 light. Does zone 4 need deprogramming or are the alarm contacts normally closed?

2) Final question, when moved is it advisable to mount the PIR above a radiator?

Any advice appreciated! I don't have the engineer code by the way!

thanks
