Render it to just a smidgen lower, perhaps as little as 1mm, than the Tyrolean, then Tyrolean it to match. Don't worry about it going onto the existing Tyrolean.

Thank you very much!!!! I now learned a new term and did a research. Apparently it's almost impossible to match the perfect mix of cement sand and pea shingle and suggest to strip it all down :( I'm not going to do that ( I got too much on my plate at the mom. See what I can do :)

I'm pretty confident that's not a pebbledash finish but a Tyrolean finish.
With judicial application you can make the "hole" disappear.

Are you familiar with Tyrolean application?

If you count the bumps of dash per brick height, it is much too course for tyrolean.

The Dash Masons (AKA pebble dash profession) is rather like the Free Masons - it is very difficult to be accepted into their circle. But for the lucky chaps, (have you ever seen a female dasher?) they learn at secret training camps how to dash properly. I once tried but was black dashed - a bit like being black balled but more painful.

I even never knew the term "Tyrolean" before RedHering replied me (god bless him)
So no never done it before and never touch a brick before starting this project. :)

by reading about it's raccomanded to it in a not to warm day (to avoid cracks?) So not the right time to do it.

I would eat my socks if I could get my wall as good as that!!! let us see your final picture ;)
