hi all

ive got my niceic domestic installer essesment coming up, im going to start up on my own, instead of working for someone else,

anyway
on the leaflet i got off the nic with my essesment date it says they will want evidence that i have a written health and safety policy statement and undertake risk essesments

do u need this if your a one man band, can i get one off the net :rolleyes:

You are going to laugh at this, but the elecsa asssessor gave me mine, he printed it off his computer. If you need a copy of it PM me with your email and I will send you it. Bet you if you call them they will send you their standard one though

If your a one man operation you don't need a health and safety policy.

Correct, but even as a one man band NICEIC require you to have one.

I'm sure you can download one from the NICEIC website.

Well that's NICEIC for you, they don't understand how things are done in the real world!
It would be good to hear how the OPs assessment went?

How long did he stay with you?

Some of them are wanting to b e off as soon as they arrive, others you think - will they ever LEAVE
