Hi All

Does anyone know the actual regs regarding discharging D2 into a hepvo trap and plastic waste pipe to soil stack.

When I did my unvented ticket it was to be run in metal pipe work to outside terminating 100mm off the floor or roof providing the roof was of a suitable material. Have things changed regarding the regs or are people just flouting the regs these days?

The HepVo & soil is acceptable. It has changed since old G3, A diagram is shown in the latest training notes.

could someone please send me a link to the fitting used between the tundish and trap

That is a standard running adapter with a solvent waste adapter to overflow pipe.

With a short piece of overflow going into the Tundish.

No solvent (abs) allowed as it melts at 105c. Must be polypropylene kitemarked to BS 5254 or BS EN 1451.
Which can withstand 130c and higher depending on the grade.

AFAIK you can use solvent-weld MuPVC as the melting point is higher...

maybe the old chestnut of 2 discharges sharing one tundish ;) . It`s illegal for me to speculate cuz I ain`t got me unvented cert.
