I am need to replace my Redring 9.5KW shower which has been useless quite frankly-I am looking at a Mira Jump-Now do u think a 8.5KW MIRA JUMP would be OK or do I need to get a 9.5KW? -we will be moving soon so it might do or do u think the power droppage would be a disaster?? cheers for any advice

A 9.5kW shower, the water will be heated quicker and a better flow rate would be expected.

What setting do you normally use on your shower(temp) is it high or low?.
My shower 9.5, i have temp set at 4(goes upto 10), if my shower was a 8.5, i would prob have temp set slightly higher(6-7).
I personally dont see the point in a higher rated shower than required, when you will never use its max setting(scold yourself).

sort of middle range I suppose-so maybe it would be OK ( 8.5KW)?

There are safety devices in place to prevent scalding, although your point regarding personal settings is a fair one.
So does everyone think I should go for it or should i stick to a 9.5KW?
I would say 'higher' flow rate, its only better if you like the water to leave indents in your skin!
