I'm planning my plumbing for fitting a shower ... and I am using a flexible tap connector to go inside the shower unit to attach to the inlet ... and then when it comes out the top of the shower unit I want the pipe to turn left. I could add a small section of pipe (to join the tap connector to the elbow) - but it seems silly. I would rather have the flexi pipe turn left straight away. I thought there was a fitting for this but couldn't find one in B and Q.

I don't want to just put a big kink in the flexi pipe and stress it though !

Any ideas?

I want the elbow (left turn) on the non tap connector end (if that makes sense to you !)

Cheers

Any pipe that is not accessible i.e. tiled over or covered permanently, best to have minimum number of fitting, no compression, solder best. Flexi fitting, never in my house or customers house unless the fitting comes with it (like kitchen tap does).

It's chrome pipe and is all going to be exposed anyway. No problem I'm going to just suck it up and use a small connecting length of pipe to an elbow (left turn !) ... might actually make it easier in future to change stuff anyway.
