Evolution Rage - Rumours?!?

Hi Guys,

Anybody got any inside info? Stocks of the Evolution Rage 3 DB seem to be dwindling around the main suppliers with only a few left.

Are they about to 'End of Life' it? Is there an upgrade/revamp around the corner?

Do I chase the last few, or do I wait a month?

Anybody know anything....

Which main suppliers are you talking about?

I've had a quick look online and other than screwfix there are plenty around.

I personally wouldn't be too hung up on it. I've had a few different evolution brand saws over the years and find them to be pretty crap.

Screwfix are short - Toolstop have 4 in stock - Anglia Tool Centre only two remaining - just got me thinking...

So... If not a Rage then what would you go for that isn't going to cost me Festool type prices?

That's just it though mate, you're never going to get festool if you don't buy festool. That said I'm more than happy with my dewalt and Makita saws.

Yes, indeed, it's horses for courses. I do a lot of stuff on my "lesser" saw, a 216mm DW which is perfectly adequate for the task of run of the mill 1st and 2nd fix work. Even my Kapex has a sticker on the back which reads "my other saw, the one that earns the brass, is a deWalt..."
