Sorry if this is an age old question, after a bit of a Google I'm getting mixed messages.
I want to tile Down stairs onto the concrete slab. House is late 80's. I'm expecting the tiled floor to be really cold but I'm not keen on the work involved in underfloor heating or the running costs.
Is there any advantage to laying a board over the slab or am I just wasting my time and money?
If I tile straight to the slab so I need a primer?
Cheers all!
