Will keep this short. I am converting a garage to a hobby space, cut the garage in half with a stud wall and because I am a muppet and messed up the doorway it’s a bit on the small side.

It roughly measures 56.5cm by 202cm. The smallest door I can find in Wickes or similar is 61 cm and you can only shave a little off.

So any suggestions on where to get a door or what to do? Too far along to make the opening bigger so that’s a no go.

If it were me, I'd be going to a local architectural reclaim place or local tip resale place to find a door small enough to trim down to fit.

Could you not just make a suitable door from scratch? A bit of timber frame for the basic structure, then a sheet of ply pinned and glued to each side.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

Widening the gap would be a lot of effort and both sides have secondary access so no real need. It is just access from one side to the other.

I’ll look for a reclaim place as that is a good idea, otherwise I may just make one.
