Hi Folks,

Not sure if this is the correct topic or not but was wondering if anyone could give me their opinion.

I want to fit some downlights down my hallway from the front door to the door at the back which connects to the kitchen.

See attached picture (with kitchen in the background).

Should the downlights be centred to the hallway ceiling (meaning they wont line up centrally to the kitchen door)?
or should the downlights be centred to the kitchen door (meaning they wont be centred to the hallway ceiling)?

I know its a pedantic point, but I want to be sure before I start cutting holes in the plasterboard.

regards

Danny

I would cut some card discs and blutac them up, wait a week and shift them. See what looks better.
Sometimes "straight" or "central" doesn't look right
