Hi :)

I've got the airbag warning light on, on my 14 plate focus.

I've had a look at the under-seat connectors (taken them out and put them back), disconnected and reconnected the battery, checked the fuse.

None of this has helped, has anyone got any ideas what the problem might be?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions,

Colin

Well, you've done the obvious, Colin.....but like many other parts on the car it has a fault code which can be read with the appropriate diagnostic gear.
I seem to remember the fault code on these is 1932 (Mondeo, anyway) and that one had a faulty 'clock spring'......that's the device that allows the steering wheel to twirl and still keep things electrically connected.
I'm not saying that this is the definite fault as connectors are occasionally to blame too - just my thoughts.

It varies on make to make, I've found.....a SEAT I worked on sorted itself when the fault (door airbag wire) was replaced, but a Merc had to go to the dealer.
I've not enough experience to say what's what here.
John :)
