My bad. Its been extended till the end of October. Hurrah!

I'm guessing that the bumps people are talking about won't be before then Mottie and certainly regards brexit, not before the end of the year.

Roll on 2021.

Get Brexit Done, lol.

True. I think there will be a fair bit of hardship, heartache and redundancies as the scheme peters out unless they extend it.

People in middle income jobs have no real safety net until all their life's work and savings has eroded. Those who've never done much of anything tend to find it quite easy to supplement their benefits with a bit of cash in hand etc.
Many parts of the service sector are booming, particularly professional services. The ones who have suffered are those who have to deliver their service face to face.

I know.

Eldest is at Uni and the youngest has just nabbed his brothers' PT job at Maccies. I'm booked up till well into 2021 and the wifes's job is safe. Thanks for your concern lard arse.

Look how much crticisim Notch gets on here for admitting he was wrong on the Brexit vote.

It's the sneering, holier-than-thou tone of Notch's posts, and air of superiority, that grate on me, not how he voted.

That, and he took a long time to come out of the closet on his voting, almost like if he pretended it never happened, it never happened.
