The 2nd plane looks like a trainer, possibly a De Havilland Chipmunk?

Was the first plane a twin prop, or single. The image isn't the clearest! :)
Might guess at a De Havilland Dragonfly?

I used to have flights in chipmunks while in the CCF.

Could very well be the dragonfly in the pic.

Any idea if flightradar can tell me what flew over Bury St Edmunds at around 15.40 today?
I'd just come out from swimming and was waiting for my wife and stepson when I heard the sound of 'an old warbird' coming from the direction of Rougham airfield.
In the distance was what seemed like a Dak but I know Kwitcherbitchin is in Germany for a display so, if it was a Dak, I suspect it may have been 'Drag 'em Oot'. But to be honest it may not have even been a Dak. Definitely a warbird though.

Yup, theoretically!
Flightradar has a 'Playback' function on the desktop site or the App. Its doesnt appear to be as simple on the mobile site though.

Nothing showing up on the playback. Thanks for the info though.

Possibility it was a flypast over Rougham air field, but they don't normally come this far east from Duxford when turning or circling in a hold pattern.

Dragonfly not Rapide - wings swept back and lower one shorter. Blame Airfix.
