That’s the idea, they used to be located in hallways (generally coldest part of the house), now they seem to be wherever with all these “smart” thermostats.
I'm pretty sure my Honeywell is complicated when you get into the programming. But at least I have an on/ off button and up/ down buttons. I don't need to go any further than that, and have never had any need to look at the instructions.
I'm assuming turning the dial never did anything on our 'learning to be s*it' thermostat?
I wonder if it is programmed already?

Surely if it's set at 20° and it's getting no higher than 17° it's because either the TRV in that room is shutting off before the temperature is reached? Try turning the boiler up to max too.
