The Persuaders theme was one of the first singles I ever bought...I loved the Black Beauty music too. The music back then was so good, not just in the pop charts but across TV themes and adverts. Not only that, but we sang hymns at school, all of which had great tunes. I am glad I grew up when I did, before music became random collections of electronic beeps and thumps.

On TV themes, this tops them all...
