Hi,

I'm into laying my parquet flooring as per this post... https://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/solid-wood-over-floorboards.650691/

I am not glueing because I'm in no rush and want to do a good job and feel that I'd quickly get into a mess.

However, even when going slowly things are getting slightly out after 1m of laying. I think by the time I reach the other end of the room (4m away) I'll be well out.

If it gets out of square like in the below how can I 'recover' this ?

Thanks,
Dan

Take it up and Rennovation Coat self levelling screed the ply for a flatter, less undulating subfloor then refit.

Obvious maybe: but check your square is accurate before you go too wild.

Square is accurate. I dry laid a load more and it seems to get back to square just bu following the pattern. Thanks for the replies.
