I bet some on here would.Many years ago the harbour master at Barmouth died whilst working on moorings in the winter, death by drowning, a long time before his body was eventually recovered. Anyway, long story short, the natural successor for the job was the assistant harbour master, the only snag was that he was English and couldn't speak Welsh so he didn't get the job.
More than a few people pointed out that if you were at sea and forced to make a Mayday call, you weren't going to **** about speaking Welsh.
