Hi All
I had my Worcester Bosch Greenstar boiler serviced 4 weeks ago and my wife has today noticed all her towels stowed under the boiler are damp.
There is a small drip...drip from inside the boiler housing visible from underneath.
I have pinned a photo and the drip is coming from just above the orange wire where the steel clip is visible.
Is this clip/pipework disturbed during a routine service?
I think its more than just coincidence.
Would appreciate your thoughts.
Cheers All
Doug

What is actually disturbed during either?
A gas safety check is likely to disturb the front cover and flue sample cap. A service could mean full strip down, charge expansion vessel etc. the former is approx 20 - 30 minutes work, latter can be well over an hour maybe 2. So to answer your original question, it's unlikely but could have checked the vessel hose if that's what it is.

It was a routine annual service and engineer provided brief worksheet stating:
Min 8.9, 2, xxxxxx (poor handwriting)
Max 9.8, x7, xxxxxxx
Exp Vessel OK
Pressure stable at Texxx xxxx
Condensate clean & clear
All xxxx, FIT oxxxxx

No issues were raised but still consider it more than a coincidence the leak has recently occurred.
My wife loaded up the cupboard with towels after the service and only today looked at the back of the cupboard to find them saturated.
it is only a slow drip so must have been leaking for some time to get the towels so wet.

Its a different engineer calling in tomorrow, so it will be interesting to see what he diagnoses as the cause.
