Imagine you're with your family, including some young children, you're strolling through the park, and you encounter a group of foreigners, black, brown, or any other coloured skin. Do you encourage your children to interact with them, and greet them as friends who you're pleased to meet?, despite the obvious language difficulties? As I said why does it seem UK is racist the rest of the world isn't.
Do you think it's weird behaviour, irresponsible behaviour, not British?
It's the kind of greeting you would encounter frequently in Asian countries. Their children are not only taught to not be frightened of foreigners, they are taught to be kind, polite, friendly and welcoming.
So in answer to your question, British children are taught to be wary and unfriendly to foreigners.
It's not limited to only British children.
