skint and no heating

You'll have to pay for a gas boiler, and the tax on top.

You'll probably get a heat pump for free, and may even get the entire heating system too if there are grants available and you qualify. You could even get some solar panels thrown in for free too. But you won't know until you find out and actually apply.

Heat pumps are fab. We've had one about a year now, it's just like a gas boiler in operation.

There are lawyers sending there staff on ASHP courses

They smell a buck

ASHP being mis sold ???

Company we deal with advise that any installer has indemnity insurance in place

Installed a 3 ASHP years ago
No grant due to they were combined with a gas boiler ( new build)

Also ripped out two ASHP systems and replaced with gas boilers

Indirectly involved with a massive lake source heat pump caper cost 250 grand to install
Total ****e

They were going to take 2 rentals off it
Advised against it

Same estate have green ??? Wood chip communial heating systems apart from the environmentally clean wood smoke belching out they work quite well

When they actually are working they pack up on a regular basis and as they are serving several rented props and offices they have to have oil back back

Lol

I have a good used heat only Glowworm.
Could possibly get a heat only used Worcester.

Possibly a logic Combination boiler also used.

All in working order.

ive sent documentation away to home energy scotland, and they will see what they can do , but because I have debt and I get enough money to love on as they say, it might be no grant

thanks , its a glow worm I have , does both rads and water , ive arranged for someone to come and look at boiler to see if its fixable , but he said it might all be rusted out dur to it flooding.

I'm beginning to wonder if you're low level trolling, apologies if not the case.

If you contact the likes of Energy Scotland, CAB, local council for advice and pointers at least one of them might be able to offer or direct you to a solution or part solution.

Bear in mind most on here are England based, often different rules/schemes up here.

If you're hoping someone on here is going to point you to a link were 100% of your costs are going to be covered, it's unlikely anyone can provide that.
I wish a was trolling , ive sent documentation away to energy scotland , they will see what they can do , but because I earn over what they call the poverty line, they might not be able to help with a grant , will see what they come back with

The glow worm has gone to junk now. If you had have been closer I would a brought it to you.

Good luck with everything.

In where? I'm not talking about the benefits agency or whatever they're called up there.

This is from your local council, and is completely separate from all benefits.

In England it's available to households with total income under £30k, which is way above the level at which you'd get other benefits.

If you're earning over £30k then you shouldn't have a problem paying for it yourself. If not then look at what you're spending your money on, not at claiming stuff for free.
my money changes as I work when required, and I have debt to pay off , I live alone so only my wage , and they the bills ,don't think council will help because its private .

Could you downsize?

What part of Scotland are you?
