His posts weren't criticism, anyway. They were general advice to businesses on strategy for navigating the new Trump administration.

I was reading a different report. But I have seen those comments now.
Most normal world leaders would laugh it off. It's actually expected in their line of work. Man-baby Trump on the other hand....
It wasn't click bait. And it wasn't sarcastic. It certainly wasn't personal criticism. It looks like he was giving an even handed analysis of where governments and companies stood in Trump world, in a chatty, open style. Tiny snippets seem to have been taken out of context. The main one quoted seems to have actually been from an article praising Trump's communication ability. It wasn't an article about the press conference. That was just an aside.

There's no evidence that Trump has had any involvement in this process.
It was the US Embassy who complained. Presumably, at the instigation of Trump or one of his acolytes.
The interesting question is where does this leave free speech. If an article praising Trump is being cracked down on by the Trump administration for an out of context, throw away comment.
