Why was colonialism so wrong in your opinion?
Look at the British empire, most of those countries are now up and coming..

Only since they got rid of their colonial masters.
Vietnam for example was a backward country under French rule, they got rid of the French and Americans and now they have a thriving economy.
China , Indonesia and other former colonies are all doing well.
