10 part peace plan which includes Iran been able to run the strait by now charging anything they like for shipping to pass through.
The US to pull out of its bases throughout the region.
Iran to agree to drop its nuclear weapons program.
Looks more like a surrender from the US to me.

They were negotiating that six weeks ago, then Don and Bibi suddenly decided to start bombing Iran.

The Iranians have been demonstrating in the streets today burning flags of Israel and US flags.. I don't think his warning of ending a civilisation has gone down to well.

21 March: The first date on which Trump gave Tehran a deadline to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. A failure to do so within 48 hours, he said, would result in US strikes to "obliterate their various POWER PLANTS".
23 March: Citing "VERY GOOD AND PRODUCTIVE CONVERSATIONS" with the Iranian regime, Trump announced a five-day pause on attacks against the country's power plants and energy infrastructure.
26 March: The five-day pause was extended for an extra 10 days, to make room for ongoing talks that are "going very well".
4 April: Trump issues a reminder to Tehran about his deadline, writing on Truth Social that "all hell" will rain down on them (he actually said "reign") should the Strait of Hormuz not be fully reopened.
5 April: The deadline received a minor extension, taking us up to 1am UK time this morning

Sounds like Iran broke the ceasefire within an hour by launching further attacks on UAE. Israel insist the ceasefire will not include their actions in Lebanon against Hezbollah, although Iran is trying to insist it will. Israel managed to take out many bridges and rail infrastructure yesterday before the deal came into place so Iran will be limited moving arms and launchers around the country.
But agreed, straits open while talks continue.
Reza Pahlavi has made a speech reaching out to the Iranian Army (not the IRGC) to take control. The next two weeks will be very interesting with internal struggles in Iran. Oh and there have been attacks launched against IRGC militia in Iraq, they think by Kurds but nobody is really sure.
Well done Trump. Will a firm deal ultimately be reached, I doubt it.

Users of the Straits, international waters, now subject to paying huge tolls to get their ships through. Magnificent win.
World a safer place? Ha Ha Haaaaa. For how long is the question. A power vacuum left in the area, what could possibly go wrong. I mean, I'm sure the country won't end up under the control of an even more hardcore nutjob, that would never happen.
