Hive dual channel wiring issue

If it’s dual channel it’ll be terminal 4.

What is that (what looks like a) lump of loose wire between 1 and 2,?
It’s a bit of dried plaster which is now removed.
Thanks mate. Yes power was off when I did it. I couldn’t tell which terminal it came out of but a previous reply was the correct one - terminal 4
