Any recommendations for internet security

Hello, I've been with f secure for ages but had a few problems, lately nothing major but still a pain and they don't include a VPN so I was wondering if there's anything better?

Just use windows defender which is free and common sense.
I find I don't need a VPN but windscribe is what I use if needed.
VPN can be very restrictive though.
Guess it depends what you are doing

We use Microsoft built in virus protection for everything on pc Inc online banking.
