Flymo Lead

I have a Mountfield Princess with a lead that goes direct into the machine.

It has failed where the copper has broken inside the flex. You know the score, you waggle the flex in a certain position and the mower fires up.

This plus damage to the flex in several places means I have got a new lead.

It happens to be a Flymo lead.



I have the usual two part connector.



But before I hack off the Flymo connector, is there a male flying connector that I could connect to the mower to connect into the Flymo lead as it is?

I do know the Flymo lead is designed to attach direct to an inlet on the mower itself.

I can't find anything.

The guy in the mower repair shop I bought the lead from said he had something, but when he rummaged around for it, he couldn't find it, so it gives me hope that something exists (or did exist)...

Is this it? I done an image search and this came up on ebay?

No it's the wrong end isn't it?

Yes, I got one like that and sent it back today because it is the same as what is on the lead.

I cant find what you need you might have to chop it off and use the other type.

I've never seen a rewireable version of the Flymo male connector, but there are adaptors both ways to/from Flymo to standard 2 pin..
