What isn't mentioned much is the hostility of the bystanders. Nobody stepped in to help the police; the crowd standing round and filming all appeared to be Pakistanis. The police involved did a heroic job and without resorting to their guns; if we had a proper government they would be given medals for bravery.

Whichever way you look at it, those guys are guilty. The video evidence is damning. It's obvious that the jury were either gotten to or extremely sympathetic to those guys 'cultural' background.........

The tenet of "I disagree with what you say, but I will defend your right to say it" doesn't apply by some vindictive people, despite their claim to hold true to that belief.
It never has in DIYnot GD. I see it getting worse, not better.
We don't care about opinions, only how members go about treating the forum and other members.
