Good find. Amazed that this got to court AND got reported on the BBC in Starmer's twisted Britain.

No doubt they'll be tightening up their controls to ensure this sort of thing doesn't get reported on again.
 
I've read the article, but I'm not entirely clear what he's done wrong. Can anyone elaborate?
 
Seems a bit strange.
They wanted to rig it so their candidate would run as the labour candidate. Which is why it's only a computer misuse charge rather than anything to with actual election voting.

The indictment alleges that Joel Bodmer "provided a PDF document and a Microsoft Excel file purporting to be his complete telephone records" but that "a telephone call to the Labour Party support team… had been deleted."

So presumably assistance from the labour party support team.
 
I'll say it again, to varying degrees, they are ALL in the (political) swamp, some just dipping their toes, some up to their proverbial necks.
