I need to access the toilet cistern that has been fitted behind a Wickes Deccado bathroom cabinet. The information I can find on-line says:
  • The toilet unit features a hinged upper panel for easy cistern servicing and comes with a glazed ceramic pan with a soft close seat, and a WRAS-approved concealed cistern with a chrome flush button
However, I can not seem to find how to open the supposedly hinged upper panel (where the toilet flush button is located). I can feel a slight movement in the panel and have tried pushing and pulling but no luck.

Can anyone help me please?

It's the button panels that comes off.
I don't know how that specific one comes off. They sometimes lift.

Watch this. Then have another go and hopefully you can work it out.

Good luck with that, even after "popping" off the front cover access looks almost impossible. I think with that one I would be looking at breaking the silicon seal on the top panel and removing that. So glad I haven't got any concealed bogs in my house.

Thanks guys for your help, sorry for the slow reply.

Video is very useful. I can feel a little movement in the button panel but have not yet managed to remove it. It feels like it is 'popped' on.

My immediate need to remove has gone for now as the flush has decided to close off correctly and is no longer overflowing back into the toilet. Perhaps some limescale had temporarily caused the problem.

I will persevere and work out how to remove the panel as I am sure I will need to at some point.
