Ann Widdecombe murder investigation

Good to see all the law and order brigade doing exactly the opposite what the law has asked, do not speculate. Do you really think running round blaming whoever is in your echo chamber will do any good or for that matter be correct. Even people in the middle are murderers.
"asked not to speculate" I understand that it is supposed to prevent any trial being prejudice in court but has there actually been such a case where previous speculation has ruined a case going ahead. Or is that just a line that defending barristers try to use to get their client off the charge.

seeing as the police asked you then the answer is pretty clear, to preserve evidence and to preserve law and order in its correct domain - not on the streets.

Why on earth would you think that reducing speculation is anything to do with a defence barrister, its not the job of the police to aid the defence is it. If you are talking about yaxley his speculation was not legal, he literally judged the defendants and mocked the court whilst in was in session and tried to get his opinion on guilt out here to prejudge the jury. Like it or not we have trial by jury, why on earth should the not be allowed to do their job without a little twerp suggesting that they should be done over if they acquitted the defendants is beyond me.

Right so it nothing to do with a future court case then.

It’s to avoid misguided vigilantes seeking justice.

It’s funny that when a white British male is suspected, the details are put out instantly. When it’s anyone else not in that category, we are asked not to speculate.

Is speculating about why they are asking us not to to speculate allowed?

It’s funny that when a white British male is suspected, the details are put out instantly. When it’s anyone else not in that category, we are asked not to speculate.

This is a long-recognised phenomenon, some call it 'Coulter's Law'...

They are running it now.

A 28-year-old man, who was arrested in Rotherham on Saturday, has since been re-arrested on suspicion of commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism. Speaking to the Commons on Monday, home secretary Shabana Mahmood said he was not known to counter-terrorism programme Prevent, which supports people who are at risk of becoming involved with terrorism.

The video of the suspect leaving a house with a weapon
He looks to be a regular oddball type

Probably radicalised by Facebook or similar

Shabana Mahmood said he was not known to counter-terrorism programme Prevent

Shabana Mahmood, a muslim acting against the interests of the British. Shouldn't be in government.

Prevent, an organisation set up to monitor potential muslim terrorists, which has been taken over by muslims, who monitor potential terrorists of the mythical 'far-right '.
