Who? As far as I know Farage was assessed as significant risk but not as much as the highest tier. But he refused that and apparently has private security that he pays for.

Khan was assessed as being at much greater risk and so gets more protection.

I don't like Farage and think the country would be better off without him in it or in our politics. But I also think that he does need protection and I find it very odd that he rejected it.

Theres nothing stopping you having police and private security so it's really odd that he didn't want to have police officers following him around routinely for his protection.

Maybe he thought the risk was actually quite small, and that he could get political benefits from publicly saying he needed to pay privately.

Rather ironic given he has built his 'career' on telling people to hate those who apparently according to him all follow said ideology
