Combi boiler on all the time!

My "jaguar" combi boiler has recently developed a fault, when not drawing hot water it runs the central heating full on all the time, with no regard to the on/off setting of the control panel or the thermostat.
The only way to shut it down is to turn off the mains power.
I believed this to be linked to a leak on the differential valve, but repairing this had made no difference.

Thanks, sorted now.
It was a broken spring inside the domestic hot water microswitch, rigged a repair for now, and will try and replace it later.
