Had this tune rattling round my mind for a while now and wonder if anyone can confirm if she is singing in a Neapolitan accent?

Italo American.
Neapolitan is very distinctive and she probably learnt it in America where there a clear American accent in it.
This is the original...

Nice one - i've started whistling the refrain and it's driving Herself round the bend!

Woe betide i try singing in English let alone Italian. Does he have an accent? I can easily pick up English accents but whenever a European says someone is speaking a Roman accent or a Parisian i have no idea how they can tell.
