Stairs landing finish for balustrade

Hi, any idea what to use to nicely mask the subfloor-plasterboard join. So it looks tidy and nicely transitions to the glass balustrade subrail?

Where is the balustrade sole plate? :confused:

Won't there just be posts with the glass 'floationg' above the deck? Or do you have a base rail?
