thanks. so where would be best?

My cylinder is directly under the cold water feed tank with no real elevation. Hot water pressure is low. Can I fit a pump anywhere that automatically switches on when a tap is openef? Also, the cylinder has about 40mm of foam stuck to it. Someone said it also needs a jacket. True??? Crakkers

WOW, difficult this. I dont really want to remove anything. Just wondering if a wireless reciever will replace the current tstat on the wall? Why does it need to go next to the valves? I have no airing cupboard. All motorised valves (only 1 i think) id above the boiler in the roof void. B
