Hi Guys, I have just removed my Rear discs & pads on VW Golf MKIV. I successfully used the caliper wind back tool on one side , but the other side would just not go all the way in ... I almost bent the wind back tool in the process, so I am thinking a new caliper is needed...

After all the hassle of installation, there appears to be a small number of tiny brown spots in the steel bath. This appeared after I drained water out of bath following sealing the sides. Could this be rust?

I went to HSS to Hire a vibration breaker. It they only had a pointed tip which seems to have done most of the job of breaking the concrete in. I am waiting for them to deliver to deliver a flater tip to speed things up. in the meantime I am taking a short break from the hard work :)

I started digging around the rotten post and found that it was set in concrete. I tried using a hammer and chisel and looks like thats going to take a while. Whats the best tool to remove the concrete? cheers

Thanks very much, just read up on it now and looks like a perfect solution. only issue is that the alleyway behind has a locked gate and would not trust myself climbing over the fence and then bringing the whole lot down! I can almost see myself unable to climb back out of the alley ...

I just checked the plan, looks like the rear is my responsibility, . It also looks like one of the side was installed back to front by the developer. Any help on the fence post :) cheer
