Is this safe to all be plugged in?

Thanks for your replies. Tank is 465 litres. I use a titanium heater. They are solid and are only a heater. The Thermostat is separate (Inkbird) where you set high and low max temperatures. It’s connected to Wi-Fi and will alert me if heater was to fail directly to my phone.

Is this safe to all be plugged in?

Hi all, I have a fish tank that currently has an extension lead and in it I have plugged my LED lights (30 watts), Filter (45 Watts) a thermomostat and a 600 watt heater. The thermostat turns the heater on and off and is Wifi enabled too. I've attached a diagram. I'd like to put a timer plug...

Honeywell Accenta Mini Gen4 Wired Alarm Control Unit

The plan is to install a new alarm panel. I just wanted to make sure it flashes as normal and not differently as would look odd if it didn’t flash as ADT boxes are supposed to since it’s ADT boxes on the wall.

Honeywell Accenta Mini Gen4 Wired Alarm Control Unit

Thankyou. That is what I thought as when connected to just a battery it flashes in normal comfort mode. Good to know the panel only sends power.

Honeywell Accenta Mini Gen4 Wired Alarm Control Unit

Thankyou. I know what you mean about different states of flashing. I just wondered if the flashing circuits are in the box or done by the panel. For example if I have an ADT box that flashed comfort LEDs but when hooked up to a new different panel then the panel makes the lights flash...

Honeywell Accenta Mini Gen4 Wired Alarm Control Unit

Sorry to resurrect an old thread. I was just wondering….Is it the alarm panel that dictates how the LEDs in the bell box flash or are they set to flash in a particular way on the box itself? Or is the panel just supplying power? I don’t want them to flash differently to how they should be on...

New alarm panel but keep ADT boxes

Thanks. I’ve checked and it is A box with sounder, LEDs and circuit board. It then has connections where you can wire up. Would any alarm panel work?

New alarm panel but keep ADT boxes

I’ve got two ADT bell boxes on my house. I’d like to power them as there is no longer a panel in the house. What panel would you recommend that’s easy to hook up and will also power the siren and LEDs of the box. Thanks.

    Never ending Washing machine problem

Evening everyone, Can anyone help? My Bosh washing machine regularly stops mid cycle with an E35 error. Now I believe it’s normally to do with excess or blocked water but it keeps reoccurring. The only way I can stop the beeping and get the door open to restart everything is like this: -...

Way to Protect kitchen unit legs

Hi Does anyone know if there exists some sort of plastic transparent sleeve I could slide on to my unit legs as they risk being hit by the hoover and damaged. See photo. I can’t find anything apart from feet protectors. Anyone? Thankyou.

    Remove kitchen cupboard lights

Thanks for your reply. The plan is to remove them completely as I have no use for them. Is there any way I could replace those fuse spur units with a socket to create an additional socket in the kitchen then it would atleast put it to some use? Thanks again.

    Remove kitchen cupboard lights

Hi everyone, I’m planning on re-doing my kitchen and several of the old cupboard units have lights underneath them. These go back into the wall and I assume at the back of the tiles and into the switch below. What is the best way to remove these lights and what do I do with the wires? Is...

How much would it cost to build a porch?

Hi all and Happy new year! I was wondering how much you think it would cost to create a porch in front of our front door. It is already a covered area so we wouldn’t need a roof. I’m thinking two walls, one with a window and then a door at the front. See pic. What sort of price am I looking...

    Wired alarm with wireless PIRs?

Does this exist? I’d like a mostly hard wired system but a few PIRs would be hard to run cables to so would benefit from being wireless. Thanks for suggestions.

    Is this safe?

My pull down light switch cord thing in the bathroom stopped working so I unscrewed the top bit on the ceiling and got it working again. However, on inspection, I notice the earth is not connected. Any idea why that may be? And am I Ok to secure the earth into its correct place in the holder...
