Some 10yrs ago our kitchen was revamped with new units and worktops etc. Also a new boiler was fitted in a corner in the kitchen. The false corner wall 200d x 500w x 500h was made by the kitchen installer using off-cut of the kitchen unit coloured wall mdf board in 2 pieces creating an 'L'...

The original stat did not have a curtain spring or band to hold it in position, it was just attached by some form of adhesive. The guy who fitted the new stat, never mentioned anything about spring etc. Just job was done and working ‍♂️

That tank stand has been there for some 37 yrs when house was built and the speedfit attached to copper pipe is pipe clipped to the frame holding the pipework in situ.

The professional changed it recently. The tank was changed some 2yrs ago using the original stat without spring/band but may had adhesive to hold ? The stat in image was fitted this week by a pro repairing a hot water not heating issue.

Yes I sorted the problem with my lances. I took out the yellow bit stuck in the lance with long nose pliers and the others still fitted in the various other attachments. I found a sharp 8.5 drill that was a tight fit in the Yellow piece and basically used the drill as if it was a reamer. Dont...

As a temp job and its purpose, I have ground off the head of a compression nut to make a miniature female socket. Theres about 3 threads in each half to a male 22mm to male 3/4” bsp adaptor with sealant on the threads to seal.

The Flomasta fitting threaded body measures 33mm (1-1/8”) dia, although the compression nuts and olive is for 3/4” pipe.

Still searching, but seen that the 22mm thread maybe a UNS 1 1/8” x 14 TPI thread if there are any plumbing fittings of that nature

Although most fittings are brass. Anyone know of a steel connector. Thanks

Flomasta Compression Tank Connector 22mm I have fitted one of these to my garden water butt as the plastic fitting supplied was flimsy and leaking. Problem I have I cannot find a 'Female' Socket/Adaptor/bush etc to fit on the male 22mm tank connector, looked high and low on Google. thanks
