    Panasonic Viera large screen TV

That is interesting. Thank you for that.It is my preferred option but it looks like it may require quite a different type of wall support than what I have seen in the shops recently. Or would one of these work...

Are they wall mountable? Or does it depend on which model you choose? It weights 30kilos!!

    Panasonic Viera large screen TV

The TV is a Panasonic Viera TH-42PZ80E It has a stand attached to allow it to sit on a table. So I guess that means that it is NOT wall mountable. I managed to tune in the piped TV on the TV itself thanks to the advice above. Cheers.

    Panasonic Viera large screen TV

I will check all of that. I believe it is a 42 inch. It has a stand, so I guess there is no option to wall mount in this instance. When I get to the menu, it says Viera Image Sound Configuration Listed like that, but when I click the down arrow on the circle around the OK button nothing...

    Tiling with silicon

This is probably crazy, but some tiles have gone up in the bathroom of my house, which were fixed to the wall using silicon. That was a surprise enough for me, as I'd never heard of that done before, but of course, now there is silicon all over the tiles, dried in. What would be the best method...

    Panasonic Viera large screen TV

I bought one of these second hand yesterday. It weights a tonne! Anyway, I have a few questions. First of all, is it wall mountable and will it require a very different support bracket to the typical wall mountable TVs? But more importantly, I cannot understand the remote control. I want to...

    Filler tips

I know powdered is best and I generally use powdered, but everything is in order and the house is almost back to normal and our tenant is home again after the Easter holidays and I was hoping (against hope) that I could get this done this way. Now that I know why powdered filler works better for...

    Filler tips

I have added a new interior door to a new bathroom in the house. The surround of the door frame was quite hollow. I stuffed it full of pieces of wood and rubble to get it a bit 'fuller'. Then I added filler from a ready made tub. I did it about 12 hours ago and while most of it is hard dried...

Is there a good alternative to Revolut?

I was thinking that I'd like to have an online banking app where I can send money instantly to other users. Monzo sounds fine. I'm going to be in the European Union though, so perhaps N26, which I have just discovered might be the way to go? Probably unlikely but has anyone here used N26?

Is there a good alternative to Revolut?

Hello everyone. I have tried to download revolut on my phone but I cannot find the app in the play store. So I tried their desktop version, and when I tried that, they asked for my phone number to send me a link. The link lead me to the play store app, however, there were red letters underneath...

    Carbon Monoxide Alarm

I changed the batteries and put it back up. A half hour later, when we had left the home the alarm started sounding again. A neighbour called me. I went home and removed the batteries and decided to take the item with me to my friends house. When I got there, I put the batteries back in and 5...

    Carbon Monoxide Alarm

I have a carbon Monoxide alarm in the house. I keep it there even though my cooker is electric and so is the water heater. There is a gas fire, one of those portable ones but it hasn't been on in a few days. I plugged in my iron to iron a shirt and the alarm starts beeping. 4 beeps at regular...

    Washer/Dryer leak

Looks like a big job to get the drum out, and in an apartment with a small kitchen I cannot see myself being able to do that. But thanks for pointing me in that direction. It was interesting too. It's a pity the side panels don't come away but even if they did, there'd still be a lot of things...

    Washer/Dryer leak

Just a final question before I give up the ghost and go looking for a new machine. I have this machine 16 years. People complain about Indesit machines, but when something has lasted as long as this, in this day and age, you don't part with it easily. I was moving the drum from inside the door...

    Washer/Dryer leak

I thought adding this cideo might help: This is me moving the drum, which has a small amount of water inside, and as you can see the water leaks out and down the back of the machine and onto the floor underneath. Is there some way to seal or fix holes on these machines? Can anyone advise me...

    Washer/Dryer leak

Would that be an outer tub leak and could it be fixed with some sealer for the outer tub?

    Washer/Dryer leak

I have an Indesit Washer Dryer WIDL126S. Last week when in use it was so noisy. I suspected that the drum was not spinning correctly, and assumed that the belt may have come loose to some degree. The machine was full and in mid wash, so I just allowed it to finish and then took a look. Sure...

What are the signs of a hacked mobile phone? Scary story this one!

I was thinking that too but I suppose there is a theory that a neighbour could have an issue. There are plenty of neighbours windows close to ours. But I think it is still a long shot.
