    spotlight bulb

    hi all The bulbs of my kitchen ceiling spotlight have often stopped working after a few months. It is LED GU10 and it could be any of the three bulbs in the photo. I understand this kind of bulbs should usually last a few years. 2 photos attached. any advice would be much appreciated.

    cooker paint

    Hi I have a Beko free standing electric cooker. Near one of the hobs at the back, the trim paint has peeled, exposing the metal beneath (as shown in the photo). I'd like to know what kind of (heat resistant) paint I should use to repair it? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

    eaves felt missing

    Thanks for your reply woody. I have attached 2 photos. One photo shows the gutter and fascia. In the other photo, I can see some kind of timber edge behind the UPVC fascia board where felt is missing(circled). Thanks again for any advice.

    @woody, behind the UPVC is the big soffit box. of course there may be timber underneath the tile, but I can't see. this is the roof of the (protruding) ground floor living room. When we moved in 2006 and the UPVC was there, so not sure if it was over-cladding or not. thanks.

    Hello While I was clearing the gutter today, I found some of the eaves felt has gone. I know without the felt, the wind driven rain may get behind the gutter and splash on the fascia board.     Leak at the corner of upvc window

    Following the heavy rain lately I have found there is leak from the corner of a window. It is around the circled area in the photo. There is a small paddle on the window sill. I checked the drain hole on the frame and it seems clear. Any advice on how the water came in? Many thanks
